Bahamas

The Bahamas are a group of islands between Florida and Cuba. Around 30 of the more than 700 islands in the Bahamas are inhabited. The land area also includes more than 2500 cays. With its numerous luxury resorts, the archipelago has become one of the most luxurious travel destinations in the world - no wonder, as it offers turquoise blue sea, white sandy beaches and plenty of Caribbean flair. One of the most popular photo motifs is without question the swimming pigs on the beach of Big Major Cay. Since the Bahamas is often overrun by strong hurricanes from July to October, the best time to travel is between December and April.
