The 5-lake hike with its crystal-clear mountain lakes and unmistakable landscape is undoubtedly the best-known hike on the Pizol. But the area has so much more to offer! Why not climb the 2,844 m peak of the same name? Or combine it with three other peaks? The combination with the Hochwart, Gamidauerspitz and Garmil is doable in one day for the athletically ambitious, but it also lends itself to an excursion lasting several days with an overnight stay in the Berghotel Gaffia in the middle of the mountain idyll. Those who prefer a more leisurely pace will find what they are looking for on the Edelweiss Trail and even learn some fascinating facts about the Swiss national flower. For the perfect mountain excursion, the short hike can be ideally combined with a visit to the Edelweiss panorama restaurant. The Pizol Panorama Höhenweg is located on the high plateau of the skiing and hiking area, which offers a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains in the UNESCO World Heritage Tectonic Arena Sardona and the St. Gallen Rhine Valley all the way to Lake Constance. The 2 Lakes Hike & Beggar's Path circular trail is the little sister of the 5 Lakes Hike. It leads past romantic alps and two refreshing mountain lakes, which invite you to rest and linger.
No matter which tour you choose, the hikes are all much more than just a good alternative!
