The "Traumschleifen" hiking-trails of the Saar-Hunsrück area

The "Traumschleifen" (dream circuits) is a dense network of premium hiking trails around the Saar-Hunsrück Trail perfect for ‘dreamy’ day-long walks. The dream circuits are designed as circular walks of between six and 18 kilometres in length leading to attractions and through natural spaces in the Hunsrück-Hochwald National Park and the Saar-Hunsrück Nature Park that are not covered by the Saar-Hunsrück Trail itself.
They mostly lead along narrow paths through unspoilt nature, past idyllic water-courses and striking rock formations to breathtaking viewpoints and impressive natural and cultural sites. There are also some walks in the same series around Boppard.
