Between Karlsruhe and Bonn is one of the most varied landscapes in Germany: historical, scenic, culinary. For example German history was written at Hambach Castle in the Palatinate in 1832 with the Hambach Festival. The rugged Rhine valley around the Loreley offers spectacular views into the depths. Finally, wine is cultivated and served everywhere on the sunny slopes of the river valleys.
