Only the first pitch of Via Max is brittle and grassy, then the fun begins. Flatter sections alternate with steep steps, sometimes you shimmy from one handhold to the next and then you climb up again in rough water grooves. The crux is a slab without holds that leads into a small vertical wall. If you see the approach as part of the overall beautiful experience, you will have fun on this tour!
