The Way of St. James Rottenburg-Thann leads us from the Neckar across the Black Forest into the Rhine plain of southern Baden and Alsace to the foot of the Vosges Mountains.

The southern variant of the Way of St. James Saarland-Lorraine leads us from Homburg-Kirrberg through the Bliesgau Biosphere Reserve to the Hornbach Monastery and on into French Lorraine, where the destination of our pilgrimage is Metz.
